I’ll never forget my therapist pointing out to me that my husband (whom I didn’t yet realize was a narcissist) was a “Peter Pan.” In retrospect this makes perfect sense as narcissists are all emotionally stunted. “Me, me, me…” is the incessant whine of these emotional toddlers.
